We’ve reached the final race of the season: here are the weather and schedule details for the MotoGP in Barcelona!
It’s off to Barcelona for the last MotoGP race! This weekend, the much-anticipated Pecco vs. Jorge showdown will officially come to an end, and we’ll find out who will be crowned MotoGP champion. Will it be Jorge Martin, the king of Sprints, or the young Turin talent who’s climbed into the top 6 most-winning riders in a single season?
This final race has some new elements, starting with the location: the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will replace Valencia’s circuit, which recently suffered major flooding. Two other changes are on the grid: Miguel Oliveira returns after his injury, and Michele Pirro will replace Di Giannantonio.
However, all eyes will be on Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin, who will go head-to-head to determine the 2024 MotoGP champion. The scales are tipped in favor of Martin, who has a 24-point advantage over Bagnaia and could secure the title during Saturday’s Sprint (find possible winning combinations here).
As we saw in Malaysia, Pecco is ready to fight to the finish, refusing to give in to number 89. The key to this weekend? Both riders must avoid any costly errors that could hand the championship to their rival.
