Great result for Pecco Bagnaia, who will start from pole in Kuala Lumpur: here’s the STARTING GRID for the Malaysian MotoGP!
It’s been a fantastic Saturday for Pecco Bagnaia in Malaysia: the Italian rider clinched pole position during the Malaysian Grand Prix qualifying, securing the top spot for both the Sprint and Sunday’s main race.
Behind him, however, is his rival Jorge Martin: the Spaniard only needs to finish second consistently to win the title, which will be decided at a track yet to be confirmed (following the cancellation of Valencia). Third place goes to Alex Marquez, who, after winning last year’s Sprint, secures a valuable front row spot.
Andrea Iannone returns to MotoGP, starting 17th.
