The results from the MotoGP Pre-Qualifying in Indonesia: Bastianini leads in Lombok, Bagnaia saved by his final lap!
MotoGP has arrived on the island of Lombok, at Mandalika: Friday was already intense, with Pre-Qualifying determining who will skip Q1 tomorrow. Leading the pack is a superb Enea Bastianini: the winner of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix set a time of 1:29.630, securing the top spot and making him the favorite for tomorrow’s pole position.
Behind him are three more Italians in the top five: second place for Martin and third for Franco Morbidelli, with the two Pramac riders unable to match the power of the “Beast.” Fourth place went to Pecco Bagnaia, who struggled throughout the session but managed a champion’s lap at the last attempt, securing his place in Q2. Fifth was Bezzecchi, showing a resurgence in form recently.
Rounding out the top 10 were Quartararo, Marc Marquez, Acosta, Di Giannantonio (who crashed at the end), and Maverick Vinales.
