Pecco Bagnaia commented on social media about the passing of Luca Salvadori: “I’ve rarely seen anyone happier than him…”
Days go by, but the pain in the motorsport world remains strong: the loss of Luca Salvadori has left the entire racing community in shock, creating a void that will be hard to fill, both in two-wheel and four-wheel racing, given his passion for motorsports and his family’s team, Trident.
This is how Pecco Bagnaia expressed his feelings about the tragedy on Instagram: “Luca Salvadori had become a point of reference, not just for me, but for all motorsport enthusiasts. In a world that works a bit backward, where success is not always forgiven, he always commented on every race, session, and event objectively. It had become a regular appointment, not just because of his words, but also because of the way he managed to get people to listen to him.
When I was asked to be interviewed or have a chat, I was always happy to share my thoughts with him because he was an extremely positive person… one of those people you want to listen to because they convey such a huge passion for what they do, which is a privilege for few. I will never forget those three laps we did together on the track in Portimao… when we got back to the pits, he was ecstatic. I’ve rarely seen anyone happier.
He managed to turn his passion into a job, putting everything he had into it, never giving up, always believing in it. He managed to turn his passion into a job, putting everything he had into it, never giving up, always believing in it. Together with Alberto Naska, The Talking Helmet, and I Nostri Piloti, he started something that had never been done before, inspiring many more people to follow this wonderful sport in a different way…
Almost closer than a television could ever do.
Grazie Luca. We will miss you.“
