Just a few days ago, Stefano Domenicali hinted that Germany could return to the calendar, partially due to Audi’s entry. All 10 teams have shown support for a Rookie Sprint Race at the end of the season in Abu Dhabi. Christian Horner, the head of Oracle Red Bull Racing, voiced his opinion, stating: “Adopting the sprint race regulations is absolutely feasible. It doesn’t need to be overly complicated. It will simply be one car per team instead of two.”

Horner further added: “I think the event will take place all in one day: qualifying, and then there will be an additional sprint race, hinting at a potential new format.
