UniCredit Officially Announced as Ferrari’s Sponsor for 2025: The Scuderia Replaces Santander

by Stefano Zambroni

Ferrari isn’t wasting any time: at the end of the season, when Santander’s departure becomes official, UniCredit will become the new banking sponsor of the Scuderia

The atmosphere at Ferrari is still extraordinarily festive following Charles Leclerc’s magnificent victory at Monza. However, the focus is already on the next race: at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku, Ferrari will continue its chase for the constructors’ title, currently contested between McLaren and Red Bull.

But the minds at Maranello aren’t only on 2024: Santander, the renowned Spanish bank that first became a Ferrari sponsor with Fernando Alonso’s arrival between 2010 and 2013 and then again with Carlos Sainz’s signing from 2021 to 2024, has decided not to continue the partnership.

The reason is simple: the presence of a Spanish driver has always been the foundation of the sponsorship between the Boadilla del Monte brand and Maranello. With Carlos Sainz’s departure, the key component of the agreement will no longer be in place.

This is why Ferrari has announced a new sponsorship with the Italian brand UniCredit. The powerful Tricolore bank, which recorded revenues of 23.8 billion euros in 2024, will become a partner of the Scuderia starting in the new year.

Ferrari shared the news on its website: “Ferrari announces that, starting January 1, 2025, UniCredit S.p.A. will partner with Ferrari S.p.A., a wholly owned subsidiary, to support its Formula 1 sporting activities through a multi-year agreement.”
