The results of the MotoGP Sprint at Aragon show total domination by the number 93! Marc Marquez takes the win, with Jorge Martin and Pedro Acosta joining him on the podium
Marc Marquez was on another level at Aragon! The home hero won with a four-second lead over Jorge Martin and a seven-second gap to Pedro Acosta, completing an all-Spanish podium. Alex Marquez finished just off the podium in fourth place.
It was a nightmare for Bagnaia, who dropped to ninth, earning just one point in the championship battle with Martin. The Spanish rider now leads the standings after a tough weekend so far for the two Ducati Lenovo riders.
Race Summary
THE START – Marc Marquez got off to a strong start, pulling out a three-tenths lead on the first lap. Bagnaia had a disastrous start, with his Ducati spinning off the line, dropping him to sixth. Aleix Espargarò and Johann Zarco crashed out early, while Franco Morbidelli also went down on lap 2.
Bagnaia tried to recover, but Oliveira made a move, further worsening the Italian’s difficult weekend. Meanwhile, Marquez broke away from Jorge Martin (2nd) with ease. On lap 7, Bagnaia went wide twice, losing positions to Binder first and then to Bastianini on the next lap.
Fabio Quartararo made an impressive comeback, battling with the Ducati riders for points. But up front, Marquez was untouchable, dominating despite managing his pace, showcasing the overwhelming prowess of the MotoGP legend.
