Sprint Race Recap

THE START – Chaos ensued at the start of the GP: rookie Oliver Goethe and Zak O’Sullivan made contact, leading to the retirement of both drivers. Kimi Antonelli was also caught up in the incident, colliding with Stanek, resulting in a puncture and a lost front wing, forcing the Italian to drop to the back of the field.

After the restart, Pepe Martí held onto the lead, while Fittipaldi went wide and was overtaken by Martins and Bearman. The future Haas driver was in great form, passing both Martins and Martí to take the lead.

Martí and Fittipaldi fell back to fourth and fifth, while the top three were Bearman, Martins (with the fastest lap), and a surprising Joshua Durksen, who climbed up the standings with his AIX Racing car.

At lap 19, contact between Aron and Maloney! The two collided, with the Estonian losing positions and being forced to retire – a disappointing result for someone fighting for the title (with Hadjar finishing 11th). Kimi Antonelli also had a tough race, likely due to damage from the start incident, finishing in 18th place. There was another late-race contact between Hauger and Crawford, fortunately without any damage.
