F2 Qualifying Results at Monza: Zane Maloney Secures Pole, Followed by Title Rivals. Antonelli Sixth
In the F2 qualifying session at Monza, Zane Maloney secured pole position, returning to the form he showed at the beginning of the season. The Barbadian driver posted the fastest lap at the Temple of Speed, followed closely by title rivals Isack Hadjar and Paul Aron, both just a tenth behind the leader.
Dennis Hauger took the fourth spot, with Victor Martins and Kimi Antonelli rounding out the top six. Antonelli, after making a mistake during his Formula 1 debut in FP1 earlier today, partially redeemed himself with a solid sixth-place finish, just over two-tenths off Maloney.
The top 10 was completed by Pepe Martì, Bearman, Cordeel, and Fittipaldi (who will start first in tomorrow’s Sprint Race due to the reversed grid). The next event is the Sprint Race, scheduled for 14:15.
