Big news in the MotoGP market: Jack Miller will be part of Prima Pramac Yamaha for the 2025 season, alongside Miguel Oliveira
The announcement came just minutes before the start of the Austrian Grand Prix, as the MotoGP grid begins to shape up for 2025. As engines were revving for Sunday’s race, following the Sprint Race victory by Pecco Bagnaia, Yamaha finalized its rider lineup with this significant addition.
Jack Miller to Pramac: The Announcement
Sandro Donato Grosso from Sky Sport Italy broke the news before the race at Spielberg: “Yesterday, Miller was the top KTM rider on track, and today he starts 5th. As for his future, it’s been confirmed: he will be with Yamaha in the Prima Pramac team, alongside Miguel Oliveira, giving him a fresh opportunity in MotoGP”.
This news puts to rest any retirement rumors. After a somewhat underwhelming stint with KTM, which ends this year (with rookie Pedro Acosta taking his place), Miller will now have his first chance to ride a Japanese bike with Yamaha, which will be provided to the Pramac team starting in 2025.
