A dream victory for Jake Dixon: the British rider wins the Moto2 at Silverstone, triumphing in his home Grand Prix.

Like a dream, with tears and joy from winning at home on a weekend where he certainly wasn’t the outright favorite. However, Jake Dixon completely transformed his career with the most significant victory he’s ever achieved on a motorcycle: the British rider triumphed at home, at the Silverstone circuit, right after the MotoGP race, securing 25 valuable points for the championship standings.

The CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team rider took the lead only on the last lap, overtaking Aron Canet of Fantic Racing, who had dominated most of the race. Dixon crossed the finish line just 0.177 seconds ahead of Canet: a photo-finish victory, making this feat even more epic.

The race started with Ai Ogura (MT Helmets – MSI) quickly getting off the line, but it was Canet who swiftly took control. Dixon then began his comeback, overtaking Ogura and targeting the top spot, which he secured only at the very last moment. The final podium spot went to Italian Celestino Vietti from the Red Bull KTM Ajo team, who confirms his good form this season, currently standing 9th in the world championship and 1st among Italians.

Out of the race were Diogo Moreira from the Italtrans Racing Team, Tony Arbolino, and Filip Salac from the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team.
