The results of F3 qualifying in Hungary: Van Hoepen takes POLE and 2 points, followed by Tsolov and Fornaroli. Disappointment for Minì
After the stunning double victory of 17-year-old Arvid Lindblad “at home,” it’s now time for the drivers to reset and play their cards in the Hungarian GP: the first crucial moment of the weekend is certainly qualifying, with the pole secured by 2005-born Laurens Van Hoepen, driving for Hitech GP.
Behind the poleman are his teammate Nikola Tsolov, in second place, and an excellent Leonardo Fornaroli: the Italian title contender benefits from the misfortunes of Browning (7th and in the wall at the end), Minì (15th), and Lindblad (22nd), all forced to make a comeback for Sunday’s race.
However, the flop of Italian driver Gabriele Minì makes the most noise, with the Sicilian from Prema starting in the eighth row for both races, as well as Arvid Lindblad, the double winner of the Silverstone weekend.
