It’s now official: the Netflix series on Senna will be released worldwide in November, but it can already be pre-saved on the platform!
From karting to victories, from the track to more private stories: Netflix Brazil is ready to release the highly anticipated series on Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna, considered by many to be one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers of all time.

Here is the announcement from the official channels of the Brazilian driver: “Senna premiere date: November 29! We now have a date for the premiere of the most anticipated miniseries of the year! The @netflixbrasil production boasts six episodes and will retrace the brilliant career of our driver, from his first kart laps. The countdown begins!”

The Plot and Cast of the Netflix Series Senna
The narrative thread of the series will be to portray for the first time the adventures and triumphs of the driver who became a national hero of Brazil and conquered the entire world on and off the Formula 1 tracks. There will be six episodes, during which the personality and personal relationships of the three-time F1 world champion will be revealed, tracing the arc of his triumphs, disappointments, joys, and sorrows.
The story begins at the dawn of Ayrton’s racing career, when he moves to England to compete in Formula Ford, and ends with the tragic accident at Imola during the San Marino Grand Prix. Produced by Gullane, Senna features the active participation of the driver’s family, with Brazilian filmmaker Vicente Amorim as the show’s showrunner and director, along with Julia Rezende.
Brazilian actor Gabriel Leone will play Ayrton Senna. “He manages to faithfully portray Ayrton’s unique personality, especially the one we knew in the family, off the tracks,” said an enthusiastic Viviane Senna, the driver’s sister (who will be portrayed by Camila Márdila), about who will play her brother.
The Brazilian cast, composed of Alice Wegmann, Camila Márdila, Christian Malheiros, Gabriel Louchard, Hugo Bonemer, Julia Foti, Marco Ricca, Pâmela Tomé, and Susana Ribeiro, will be joined by an international cast, including actor Matt Mella, who will play the role of Ayrton’s nemesis, Alain Prost.
