A terrible tragedy strikes the world of motorcycling: Lorenzo Somaschini dies at 9 years old in a horrific accident at the Interlagos Racetrack.
This is a deep-cutting drama in a sport where the risks are known, but everyone tries not to think of the worst. This comes just days after the bad accident of Mia Rusthen in Misano. However, the news of the night is the tragedy of Lorenzo Somaschini: the young 9-year-old motorcyclist fell during last Friday’s training for the fourth round of SuperBike Brasil, immediately showing severe injuries that were treated by doctors in the following days. However, the operations were in vain: Lorenzo died during the night, leaving a tragic void in the world of motorcycling.
