SHOCK in Formula 3: before the Imola weekend, Martinius Stenshorne has been disqualified for the British GP!
Truly incredible what happened in Formula 3, just before the start of the Imola weekend. Martinius Stenshorne, a Norwegian born in 2006, has been disqualified from the Silverstone Grand Prix for competing in the GB3 series during the same Grand Prix weekend at the British circuit without notifying the FIA as required by the Sporting Regulations.
Article 10.4 of the Sporting Regulations indeed states that prior to participating in another Championship, written approval from the International Federation is required. Since this didn’t occur, and given that participation in the event can be considered a “sporting advantage,” Stenshorne has been disqualified from the upcoming Round 7 at Silverstone.

Below is the official statement on the Formula 3 website: Hitech Pulse-Eight driver, Martinius Stenshorne, has been suspended from participating in Round 7 at Silverstone. The Norwegian rookie was found in violation of Article 10.4 of the FIA Formula 3 Sporting Regulations for 2024, as he participated in another Championship without prior written approval from the Promoter or the FIA.
Before making the decision, the Stewards reviewed the FIA report, official timings, and race standings. They also heard from both the driver and the team representative, as well as representatives from the FIA and the F3 promoter.
After considering the matter and examining the relevant evidence, the Stewards determined that the driver and the team did not inform the FIA and the Promoter as required by the regulations. They also deemed the infraction to be a serious breach of the Sporting Regulations and therefore decided to suspend car 15 for the event.
